Welcome to our website!

WGGC is pleased to announce that one of our members, Mike Tierney, has been nominated for the Missouri Good Neighbor Award from the City of Webster Groves.  This is in recognition for his work on the beautiful Turn-Around-Garden (TAG) located at the corner of Rockhill and Lockwood.  And thank you to Mia and JR Walter's for nominating Mike.                                                                                                       A Note from the Mayor                                                                   Thank you for nominating one of your neighbors for the Missouri Good Neighbor Award. We are pleased to have so many amazing nominations. Each nominee will be notified of their nomination directly and invited to a recognition ceremony as a part of our City Council meeting on October 3rd at 7:30 pm in the Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall. We hope you can join us to recognize these notable neighbors.   Thank you for participating in what we hope will become an annual event to recognize those who do both big and small things to make Webster Groves a great place to live.                                              Sincerely, Laura W. Arnold, Mayor, City of Webster Groves

Webster Groves Garden Club (formerly known as The Men's Garden Club of Webster Groves)

The Webster Groves Garden Club (formerly The Men's Garden Club of Webster Groves) welcomes you to our web site.

Our garden club membership consists of men and women, young and not so young, living in Webster or miles from Webster, and range from novice gardeners to Master Gardeners. We are a diverse organization who welcome members who love to garden. We usually meet each month at the Webster Groves Recreation Center on the second Monday of the month at 7:15pm. At these meetings we have presentations by experts on various gardening interests. When not at the Rec Center, we have meetings at the gardens of members who wish to share their love for gardening. We also have an annual sale of plants from member gardens (see below), support and build community gardens, and provide scholarships to college students studying horticulture. The various tabs of this website take you to more in-depth information about the club.

Information on upcoming events and other items for the Club can be obtained in our Monthly Newsletter. If you are interested in receiving a copy of the Newsletter or in becoming a member of the Club (dues are $15 single, $20 family per year) please send an email to President@mgcwg.org or go to the above Membership tab.
