Webster Groves Garden Club

(formerly known as The Men's Garden Club of Webster Groves)

The Webster Groves Garden Club has been active in the community since its inception as The Men's Garden Club of Webster Groves in 1943. It was incorporated in 1984 and is a Not-for-Profit Corporation under the laws of the State of Missouri. Its mission is to promote gardening and other horticultural activity through philanthropy and education
.

These monthly meetings are held on the second Monday of each month beginning at 7:15 p.m. and are usually held at the Webster Groves Recreational Complex. Two or three meetings in the Spring or early Summer are held in the gardens of members or at other sites with a gardening-related interest. The public is cordially invited to attend these meetings and all persons who would like to become members are welcome to join.

The Club holds an annual plant sale in late April for the convenience of local gardeners, with most of the plant stock drawn from local gardens of Club members and their neighbors.

The proceeds from the sale fund two scholarships for students enrolled in the horticulture program at St. Louis Community College at Meramec and provide plants for and the maintenance of flower gardens at the Webster Groves Green Space Garden at Rock Hill and Lockwood.

The Club holds regular monthly meetings at which an educational program is presented. Membership in the Club is open to both men and women throughout the area.
